AlertNet, the Thomson Reuters Foundation service that alerts humanitarians - and journalists - to emergencies, has launched a Climate Change page.
It brings together in one place breaking "Global Warming" news of all kinds, along with analysis and background briefings, blogs, features, videos and pictures and a media resources section, "AlertNet for Journalists." It is an invaluable resource for any reporter tackling vital Climate Change issues.
Reuters AlertNet is a humanitarian news network aimed at keeping the relief services and the wider public up-to-date on humanitarian crises around the globe.
It attracts more than ten million users a year, has a network of 400 contributing humanitarian organisations and its weekly email digest is received by more than 26,000 readers.
It was started in 1997 by Reuters Foundation to place Reuters' core skills of speed, accuracy and freedom from bias at the service of the humanitarian community.
